Brabourne Stadium pitch report
If we talk about the pitch of Brabourne Stadium, then the pitch here helps both the bowler and the batsman. You have been clearly told about it in this article.
The pitch here is made of red clay and due to this the fast bowlers get to see more bounce on the pitch here. The Brabourne Stadium is very close to the sea in the south of Mumbai and being close to the sea has a huge impact on this ground. Because of the low pressure along the sea, the wind speed is generally high and fast bowlers can take advantage of this. Because of this high bounce and wind speed, the pitch here helps the fast bowlers.
But due to being on the seashore, dew is also seen here in the evening, which eliminates the bounce and swing from the pitch, due to which the ball starts coming easily to the bat and this pitch is in favor of the batsmen. She goes. Along with this, the outfield of Brabourne Stadium is very fast and the boundary is very small, which gives the advantage to the batsmen.
Brabourne Stadium Toss Factor
The toss factor works the most at the Brabourne Stadium. Talking about day time matches only, it can be uncertain whether the team winning the toss will bowl or bat first.
But most of the time it is seen that when there are day night matches, the decision of the toss affects the match the most, because it becomes easier to bat in the second innings in a day night match. That is why in day night matches the team winning the toss always prefers to bowl first and if we look at the match status then the teams bowling first have won most of the matches.
Brabourne Stadium Weather Report
Brabourne Stadium being on the seashore, it is normal and even for most of the time, but it is always windy and dew is commonly seen in the evenings. This is the reason why most of the teams depend on the toss and always or mostly decide to bowl first after winning the toss.
Brabourne Stadium First Inning Batting
The average first batting score in a T20 match here is 166 runs and as mentioned above the atmosphere and pitch texture here favors fast bowlers so batting is a bit difficult in the first innings but as the match progresses Goes forward and if the batsmen avoid the good balls in the initial overs, then the first innings can also perform well.
Brabourne stadium second inning batting
Batting in the second innings becomes a bit easier than in the first innings as the pitch has slowed down a bit since the first innings game and the bounce available to the fast bowlers is normal.
Along with this, the effect of dew is also seen in the evening. The dew falling on the ground completely destroys the swing that the bowlers get and the ball starts coming easily to the bat.
