In the last over, Washington Sundar batted well and while scoring fast runs single-handedly got involved in winning the Indian team.

He completed his half-century in just 26 balls.  But on the other hand, due to not having any regular batsman, he could not win this match alone and in the 20th over he was caught out by the third man after playing an upper shot.  He scored 50 runs in just 28 balls with the help of five fours and three sixes.

The Indian team could only manage 155 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and lost the match by 21 runs.
