St George Park Stadium Pitch Report / Port Elizabeth Pitch Report
Is Port Elizabeth Stadium a batting pitch or a bowling pitch?
The pitch at the St. George’s Park Cricket Stadium in Port Elizabeth is known to be bowler friendly and favors the fast bowlers in the opening overs of the match. The proof of this is also given by the results of the matches played here. A total of 3 T20 matches have been played here, in which the average score of the first innings is only 132 runs.
There is a lot of bounce on this pitch and swing is also seen with the new ball in the initial overs. That’s why the pitch of this ground gives a lot of help to the fast bowlers. Although this pitch is made for fast bowlers, but spinners also get a lot of advantage here in the second innings.

The dimensional area of this ground is very small which is beneficial for the batters. At the same time, the outfield of this ground is very fast, so if the batsman plays with patience in the initial overs of the match, then this ground is going to be easy for that batsman.
